James Biden, President Joe Biden’s brother, has reportedly informed the FBI that his family engaged in favoritism for Chinese foreign nationals. They allegedly attempted to aid CEFC China Energy Co. in acquiring a U.S. liquid natural gas facility in Louisiana. Notably, CEFC had strong connections to China’s communist government and its leader, President Xi Jinping.
Multiple Biden family members had personal meetings with Ye Jianming, the chairman of CEFC, to discuss assisting CEFC in acquiring a U.S. liquid natural gas facility. James Biden emphasized that Chairman Ye was portrayed to him as a protégé of President Xi.
James Biden recalls a pivotal meeting centered around a location known as Monkey Island, situated off the coast of Louisiana near the Gulf of Mexico, with pre-approved development potential and access for gas loading and unloading. James Biden also admitted to collaborating with Louisiana state officials to streamline regulations in support of the deal, aiming for a fast-tracked approval process.
The corrupt deal, which ultimately didn’t come to fruition, reveals allegations of Joe Biden’s misuse of his political power for financial gain. Bank records indicate a Biden associate received a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC, and four Biden family members received funds linked to CEFC.
Furthermore, CEFC paid Hunter Biden a $1 million retainer fee for legal services in 2017, and Hunter received a valuable diamond from the company worth approximately $80,000 in February 2017.
In a 2017 text message, Hunter Biden expressed that “the Bidens are the best I know at doing exactly what the chairman wants from this partnership.”
It’s not the first time James was implicated in Hunter’s shady business dealings. Over the years, the president’s brother has been involved in various financial schemes with his nephew. However, some of these deals have turned sour, with former business partners alleging that James promised to leverage the Biden name and connections but failed to deliver – claims he denies.
In an exchange from Hunter’s purportedly abandoned hard drive, James encourages Hunter to focus on the positives in their lives and not get bogged down by negativity. At the time, James and Hunter were engaged in a lucrative business arrangement with Chinese executives. I
In another email, James urgently encouraged Hunter to seize a financial opportunity linked to Joe Biden. On October 1, 2017, James sent an interesting, if unclear, email to his nephew. “You need to call me now,” the email reads. “Just got off the phone with your father…We have the two biggest days of our business life in front of us!!!!!! We must be smart, or everything goes up in smoke! Please call me. You MUST remain calm. The timing could not be worse. Calm and measured!!!! Paybacks can come later.”
Several weeks later, communications showed James Biden discussing how they could utilize their political connections for infrastructure projects. James pointed out their acquaintances in California, including Governor Jerry Brown, suggesting they could pursue rail projects there. He also mentioned significant projects in Minnesota where they could seek assistance from the Democratic delegation. In New York, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo was willing to meet with them whenever they were prepared, James said.
The shenanigans started when Joe Biden was a newly elected senator. James Biden opened a nightclub in Wilmington, Delaware, financed with loans from banks that were eager to please then-Senator Biden, who was on the Banking Committee.
In 1975, Joe Biden called Edwards Danforth, the chairman of the Farmers’ Bank of Delaware, to express concerns about his brother’s treatment by the bank. Joe Biden’s reasoning was that the bank was threatening a default, which would be embarrassing for him. He felt the bank was trying to use him as leverage. Eventually, the nightclub business failed.
In 2000, James Biden borrowed $353,000 from Leonard Barrack, a prominent Biden donor, and simultaneously, Barrack hired James’s wife, Sara, and funded their international business travels, aiming to generate business for his firm. However, the relationship soured, resulting in lawsuits between Barrack and the Bidens. Barrack’s firm alleged that James had promised to attract clients using his family name in exchange for hiring Sara. But when James was unable to deliver the goods, Barrack filed a lawsuit claiming that the Bidens allegedly generated business for themselves instead of the firm.
The liberal news media will downplay the significance of the Biden family’s role on Monkey Island. But this isn’t just speculation, this is a direct confession from a key player that implicates the Bidens in a for-profit scheme with Chinese foreign nationals by leveraging the “brand.”
Who needs Monopoly when the Bidens prove that corruption is a game the whole family can play?
