Biden Tells Gun Owners the Government Already Has Us Outgunned

President Joe Biden loves mocking the American taxpayer about their rights and the Second Amendment. While speaking to reporters on January 21st, he took special aim at gun owners who rightfully and unapologetically believe in their right to bear arms.

“And I love people who say, the ‘blood of liberty,’ or excuse me, ‘the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots.’ Well, guess what, man, I didn’t see a whole lot of patriots that are out there walking around making sure that we have these weapons…And if you really want to worry about the government, you need an F-16.”

This wasn’t his first time attempting to go after the Second Amendment or those who know all too well why we have it. Back in June of 2023, the Washington Examiner was doing a piece on his attempts to dismantle the Second Amendment by banning the AR-15 rifle.

“We have to change. There’s a lot of things we can change because the American people by and large agree you don’t need a weapon of war. I’m a Second Amendment guy. I taught it for four years, six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. You know, I love these guys who say the Second Amendment is … you know, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. Well, if [you] want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15.”

These words didn’t land well with Americans back in June 2023, nor did they click in January 2024. Instead, they serve as a reminder. A reminder that the American government has already essentially made the Second Amendment useless. When it was written, the Second Amendment was designed to keep Americans free from tyranny. Free from people like Biden becoming too bold with their “power” and trying to take advantage of the American people and enslave us to their every will.

As weaponry evolved, the average American was able to keep pace. When it comes to semi-automatic small caliber arms, they still could keep pace now in 2023. Yet, as Biden pointed out, when it comes to fire superiority and weapon development, the US government has cornered the market. Between quiet resolutions and the 1986 full auto ban, they have limited our rights.

When made law, anything full-auto made from 1936 to 1986 would require a tax stamp, past 1986, it’s simply illegal in the hands of the common citizen. With the initial restrictions on who could own machine guns being passed in 1934, there have been a few other loopholes for people to own full auto rifles. The same goes for rockets, missiles, or other major weapons.

Despite not wanting to agree with Biden, legally, the US government has trapped the law-abiding American people under their thumb. That being said, as we have seen with our horrible borders, if anyone wants big weapons or fully automatic weapons, there are ways to get them. As laws are nothing but guidelines to truly free men, he’s “correct” but not “right” in his message.

Biden also fails to remember that while the government may own all these big weapons, it is the lower enlisted who operate and maintain them. The vast majority of them come from blue-collar backgrounds. They aren’t the liberals who would sheepishly and easily turn their weapons on Americans just because a tyrant gave the order. Instead, these are the very people who would have no problem “acquiring” the equipment for the battle.

The message of the US government outgunning American citizens might be an accurate statement, but it also isn’t one we need to be reminded of. We know just how out of it Biden can be when he has those dementia attacks that make him lash out. The last thing we need is for him to try to mount an offensive on the American people.
