Despite having little chance against former President Donald Trump, the former Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, has refused to drop out. Even when asked about her inevitable loss, she refuses to hypothetically say she would support Trump. Despite initially having 14 candidates on the campaign trail, Haley was one of two women at the start.
On February 18th, Haley took to social media to present a bold new campaign message. “12 Fellas Down. 1 to Go.” Sounding more like a XXX title than a political message due to the lack of context clues, her “girl power” message was lost. Granted, she has referenced this tagline at campaign stops along the way.
After losing New Hampshire, she called herself a “fighter” and deemed herself as “scrappy,” and tried to point out that at “One point in this campaign, there were 14 of us running, and we were at two percent in the polls.”
Now there are two of them running, and she’s getting about 14% in the polls.
Turning up on ABC’s This Week also on the 18th, she proclaimed that America will see its first female President. She firmly believes either she gets the Republican ticket and then the Presidency or Kamala Harris takes it for the Democrats. As someone whose policies often align more with the left, it’s not surprising she thinks it can only be either of them.
Delusion like this doesn’t make a President. After four years of Biden and his not knowing if he’s coming or going or how to allow a nation to prosper, it’s time we get back on track. God knows Haley isn’t capable of doing the job.
