There were a lot of good, bad, and weird moments at last week’s RNC Convention. It was odd enough that a former OnlyFans hoochie with face tattoos was addressing the convention, but then Harmeet Dhillon showed up to deliver a weird prayer to some Hindu demon. It can only be described as “peak GOP, INC.” There were some nice surprises, however. One unannounced guest who delivered a great speech was President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Madison Trump.
She’s the eldest daughter of Donald Trump, Jr. at just 17. She delivered a tear-jerker of a speech about the man who most of us consider the rightful leader of America, but who she simply calls, “Grandpa.” The speech was filled with personal anecdotes about how Donald Trump impacts her life on a daily basis.
It’s a nice reminder that Donald Trump isn’t just a boisterous speaker who stands up for American workers. He’s also a husband, father, and grandfather to a beautiful family that dearly loves him. Except for Mary Trump. Every family has one of those.
Kai’s speech showed us a side of President Trump that the media always overlooks. It’s remarkable that as busy as Trump is, he takes time out of nearly every day to engage with his grandkids and offer them unconditional love and encouragement. Compare that to Joe Biden’s kids, who are always leaving their laptops and diaries lying around as a desperate cry for help.
Anyway, for those who missed it, here was the speech that brought the house down at the RNC:
