Many Canadians in Ontario are outraged after Kentucky Fried Chicken has agreed to ban bacon and serve on Halal chicken going forward. The move to appease a vocal and obnoxious minority has left Canadians feeling as if their culture is being stolen out from under them by the globalists—and they’re right.
KFC sent out a memo to its Ontario franchises in May, detailing the new initiatives. In an effort to provide a “diverse and inclusive menu,” the company has forced all its employees to undergo training in Halal Operational Procedures. How banning bacon is “inclusive,” since most Canadian customers want it on the menu, is a mystery that is not solved by the memo.
Canadian Premier Justin Trudeau and his globalist bosses at the World Economic Forum (WEF) have been working to completely destroy Canadian culture through mass immigration. Ontario has absorbed a massive influx of 650,000 immigrants over the past five years. It’s completely wrecked the housing market across the country, as young Canadians can no longer afford to buy a home.
The hashtag #boycottKFC has been trending across the country as Canadians have learned of the outrageous change. In case it’s been lost on anyone, this is the exact opposite of how cultural assimilation among immigrants is supposed to work.
When immigrants move to your community, the native culture isn’t supposed to alter their diet and lifestyle to accommodate the newcomers. They’re supposed to adapt to your culture—or go back home. This is the way that immigration has always worked until about 15 seconds ago.
The Canadians are right to be angry about this. Their country and culture are being stolen out from under them. KFC has announced that all its restaurants will ban bacon and serve Halal-only chicken across all of Canada by the end of the year.
