With Democratic President Joe Biden running for reelection, it’s become clear that the party of the left is a bit divided. And according to some, the coming of a new and alarming contender could divide it even more.

According to former Speaker of the House and big-hitting conservative Newt Gingrich, the rumors of a Michelle Obama run for the Oval Office might not be untrue. And if that’s the case, both parties had better be watching closely.

Biden likely chose to run despite many warnings from those within his administration.

Gingrich noted that it could be a sign that someone else is about to enter the political arena, which Rice might like better. Namely, the former speaker said that person could be former first lady Michelle Obama.

To be sure, this is not the first time Obama’s name has been spouted as a possible White House contender. In fact, her name has supposedly been in the running since her family left the West Wing. However, she’s always made it rather clear that she’s not interested in such a position.

In November of 2022, for instance, she told reporters in an interview that she “detest(ed)” being asked about it and “No, I’m not going to run.”

But is she just saying that?

Gingrich points to a recent event she held in Los Angeles with Oprah as a sign that she could be. He told Bartiromo that the event brought in some 9,000 people and had people cheering her on, even as she played the tambourine on stage with Bruce Springsteen.

“I think Republicans had better pay significant attention to Michelle Obama” as she is “not a person who’s hiding.”

Recently, Fox News Host Kennedy of Kennedy Saves the World, said that we have to start looking at the 2024 candidate for all that it really is. She talked about how both candidates are enough to cause bile to rise up in your throat. It’s Biden versus Hitler, according to Kennedy. She’s not fans of either candidate, and you can hear how she takes a hit at both of them here:

Michelle Obama keeps saying she’s not running…but why does everyone continue to talk about her as the only option to replace Biden?
