It’s been fascinating to watch the coup against Joe Biden unfold at breakneck speed after the Democrats failed to assassinate President Donald Trump. Biden has been forced out of the 2024 presidential race and Kamala Harris has inexplicably become the party’s nominee without winning a single vote, just three months before the election. Not everyone is happy with how things played out. (Well, Trump supporters are happy, because LOL!) Barack Obama is reportedly withholding his endorsement from Harris.
The people controlling Joe Biden’s Twitter/X account announced that he was dropping out on Sunday. That was quickly followed by Biden’s Twitter/X handlers announcing that Old Joe was endorsing Kamala Harris as his replacement. Insiders say Barack Obama was blindsided by this decision because he was kept out of the loop.
Obama had hoped that he would be the one to pick Joe Biden’s replacement. He’s friends with George Clooney, dang it! A source close to Obama told the New York Post that he was “furious” that Biden had picked Kamala. Obama is politically savvy enough to realize that Kamala Harris is a huge dud and she cannot win the election. She had to drop out before the Iowa caucuses in 2020 because she was out of money.
The unnamed source says that if people thought Joe Biden’s debate performance in June was bad, just wait until Kamala takes the stage with Donald Trump.
“She can’t debate,” said the source. “She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine. She’s going to say something really stupid.”
We can’t wait! The first Trump-Harris debate will likely take place in September. The details are still being hashed out. Trump has said that he wants to debate her more than once, but it’s unclear whether Harris will commit to it.
As for Obama, it will be interesting to see how much his refusal to endorse Kamala will hurt her chances in the race.
